Quality Control – Food IndustrySUMMARY Accountable for assuring the quality of all products that are shipped from the bakery comply with quality control standards, sanitation, and food safety.
FUNCTIONS· Assuring corporate wide (plant, restaurant, fleet) compliance through the development, implementation and continuous monitoring of standards, policies and procedures as they relate to GMPs, quality, Food Safety, Kosher and HACCP.· Work with management team to create progressive programs and take ownership of each of them (implement, train and monitor)· Lead development of the Quality Assurance and Food Safety functions within the plant and promote broad awareness of and adherence to quality control/assurance principles and practices.· Manage AIB Audits to completion above acceptable levels.· First point of contact between company and all regulatory agencies (CFIS, FDA, etc)· Formalize documentation programs for quality, food safety, environment and health & safety in preparation of audits and maintain documents in an organized and accessible fashion.· Establish, implement and monitor all quality control programs.· Facilitate all external and internal quality audits.· Insure compliance with all customer, government and third party regulations.· Insure compliance with all customers, government and third party regulations and requirements in regards to Quality Control, Sanitation, Maintenance and Food Safety.· Ensure that customer’s expectations are consistently met.· Approval of product specifications and quality standards.· Point of contact for customers regarding meeting specifications and conformance of HACCP program.· Ensure a planned program of internal and external quality system audits is maintained. Promote and encourage the use of continuous improvement concepts in the workplace.· Assist the development of a culture of best business practice whereby each employee takes ownership of their individual area of responsibility.OTHER JOB DUTIES/REQUIREMENTS· Ability to troubleshoot and provide solutions in a timely manner.· Working knowledge of HACCP, Kosher, AIB Standards and GMP requirements.· 3-5 QA experience in food in a HACCP environment.· Proficient in MS Office Suite.

PRODUCTION SUPERVISOR
PURPOSE Planning, organizing and controlling production within the activities of Non ASME Welding, Polishing, Electrical Wiring, Sub-Assembly and Final Assembly.
DUTIES · Supervision of 28 employees as follows 9 employees in electrical wiring assembly (includes 1 lead hand) 11 employees in polishing (includes 1 lead hand) 8 employees in welding (includes 1 lead hand) · Coordinating, controlling and directing production in conjunction with the Welding, Polishing, Electrical Wiring, Sub-Assembly & Final Assembly Lead hands. · Ensure quality objectives are met for production · Ensure production output requirements meet company objectives. · Ensure that all manufactured and purchased parts are available for Welding and Assembly. · Monitor manpower performance and overtime requirements. · Monitor attendance while providing flexible scheduled vacations. · Ensure all safety goals and objectives, both departmental and site, are being supported and achieved. · Fulfill the financial control and risk management responsibilities inherent in the position. · Conduct yourself in accordance with the Company Code of Ethics Policy at all times. · Able to work with confidential engineering documents, production processes.

SUMMARY
Accountable for developing production schedule and co-coordinating outbound logistics to ensure supply of products to customers.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Production planning · Work with operations to build a production schedule for a short shelf life product in a dynamic environment. · Lead resolution of short term supply issues from a production planning perspective. · Develop forecast (1 month – 3 months) in conjunction with sales and initiate improvements to forecasting process. Provide capacity plans and identify constraints and issues. · Track fill rates, on time delivery and par bake inventory replenishment. · Work with purchasing to ensure raw materials and packaging are on hand for production.
Outbound Logistics · Manage all finished goods inventory and outbound logistics to ship orders to customers according to schedule.
